Different species of salmon have different time frames during which they are in our local rivers and seasons in which they may be caught. We also fish for the different species of salmon differently and often fish the same species differently depending upon the water being fished. Limits are generally set but can be changed by special emergency orders issued by the Fish and Game so those given are the general rule but subject to change.
