1 1/4 cup chocolate cookie crumbs ( I use Oreos)
1/4 Cup sugar
1/4 Cup butter, melted
Crush cookies with rolling pin or use blender, add sugar and butter, mix well. Press cookie mixture into pie pan. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes. Cool completely.
Filling:
1 8 oz. Pkg. cream cheese
1 Cup creamy peanut butter
1 Cup sugar
1 Tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 oz. Cool Whip
Hershey Bar, optional
In a bowl, add the cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, butter and vanilla. Using a mixer, beat until smooth. Fold Cool Whip into peanut butter mixture until well blended. Spoon into crust. To garnish, use a potato peeler to shave off pieces of a chocolate candy gar. Refrigerate.
